THANKSGIVING MEAL For many years The Presbyterian Church of Cadiz at 154 West Market Street has prepared and hosted a Thanksgiving Dinner for anyone wishing to attend on Thanksgiving Day. This year the COVID world has created too many challenges as the members try to plan for the feast. Therefore the Lord has given them a new vision. This year the feast will look different, but the welcome is as warm. At 10:00 AM on that Thursday a table will be set out in front of the church. On it you will find bags containing frozen turkey dinners, rolls, fruit, pumpkin roll and a coupon for a hot beverage to warm you while you prepare the frozen turkey meal in your own home. If this offering does not meet your needs there is the option of selecting a Sanders voucher enabling your family to purchase items of your choice with some restrictions. Distancing and masks must be worn as guests come to pick up their meals. These meals will be available on a first come, first serve basis until it’s gone. Those needing home delivery can call Keith Wilson at the church at (740) 942-2366 by Monday, November 23, before 4:00 PM with name and address and the Boy Scout Troop #269 will deliver as they have in the past. Know that you are cared for in this new way on this day of THANKSGIVING for our many God given blessings and next year the church hopes and plans to host a more familiar gathering.
